Cleveland Indians donate baseballs, $2,500 to Puritas Baseball League, victim of theft and vandalism

The Indians made a monetary and equipment donation to the Puritas Baseball League on Thursday after the league and its fields on the city’s southwest side were victimized by thieves earlier this week.

The league lost food and beverage, gear and suffered property damage as part of the crime. Former big-leaguer and Indians Manager of Youth Baseball Development Matt Kata presented the donation Thursday evening at Maplewood Diamonds.

And the INDIANS come through again. Part of what I love about this team, they are constantly donating to charity in one way or another. Love the Tribe !!!
