Carlos Santana hit his fourth career walk-off homer (fifth career walk-off hit overall) in the bottom of the ninth on Friday night to lift the Indians to a dramatic 3-2 win over the White Sox in front of 27,912 at Progressive Field.

Santana’s homer was his 14th of the year, tied for the team lead with Mike Napoli and tied for 14th in the American League.

The Tribe had taken the lead in the eighth on a Jason Kipnis RBI double, but the Sox tied it in the ninth on Avisail Garcia’s RBI double.

Trevor Bauer dominated, striking out nine in seven innings and allowing just a run. In his last five starts, Bauer has logged a 2.52 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 35.2 innings.
