At the start of Memorial Day weekend, the Tribe’s promotional schedule begins in earnest with some of the club’s coolest promo items and events:

INDIANS INTRODUCE NEW TICKET DISCOUNT TO HONOR, THANK MILITARY

The Cleveland Indians have introduced a special ticket discount for military members and their families. With this new discount, military members and their families will be able to save up to 20% on tickets to select games. The military discount is offered online only beginning with home games Memorial Day weekend (May 27-30) for various locations at Progressive Field, including the Field Box Back, Family Deck, Upper Box and Outfield Club. MELT’S SANDWICH NOMINATED IN USA TODAY’S BEST BALLPARK FOOD CONTEST

The Parmageddon sandwich, served at Melt Bar and Grilled, has been nominated to represent Progressive Field in USA Today’s Best Ballpark Food contest. Melt was added to the ballpark’s Right Field District in 2015 and offers innovative and unique grilled cheese sandwiches to fans. The Parmageddon is a grilled cheese with sharp cheddar, potato and onion perogi, and sautéed onions and Napa vodka kraut. You can vote for the Parmageddon to win “Best Ballpark Food” here.

Pregame in the District presented by Miller Lite features $2 Miller Lite drafts from 5-7PM in the Right Field District.

Sugardale Dollar Dog Night: The Indians will have 11 Sugardale Dollar Dog Nights throughout the 2016 season. Fans can also enjoy Sugardale samplings pregame at Gateway Plaza.

Fireworks presented by Sport Clips: The Indians will have their first fireworks night of the season presented by Sport Clips. Friday’s fireworks will feature a “Dance Party” theme.

Block Party: Block Parties include live pregame entertainment featuring music on the RTA stage, DJs, giant corn hole, Jenga and pong. Block Parties are perfect for the entire group to cheer on the Tribe.

Indians Alumni Ambassadors:
Tribe alumni Ellis Burks and John McDonald will serve as the Alumni Ambassadors for Friday’s game. Burks and McDonald will be available for a meet and greet at the pregame Block Party (6-6:30PM).

Louisville Slugger Mobile Museum & Factory:
The Louisville Slugger Mobile Museum & Factory will come to Progressive Field’s Block Party before Friday’s game. The Louisville Slugger Mobile Museum & Factory features live bat-making demonstrations with a hand-turning lathe to showcase the “old-fashioned” way of making a baseball bat by hand. The experience is highlighted by authentic, game-used bats and replica bats from Cleveland Indians and Baltimore Orioles players past and present, all of which fans can hold.

Lindor Smile Squad: Each homestand the Indians host a Miracle League family to provide a memorable experience at Progressive Field. Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor is the ambassador for this program – during batting practice he will sign autographs and visit with guests.

MLB “Welcome Back Veterans”: To honor and thank those who have served our country, a Marine will throw the ceremonial first pitch at Monday’s Memorial Day game. Additionally, the 555th Honors Detachment color guard will be recognized on the field during pregame ceremonies.

Clinic Children’s, hosts a Cleveland Clinic Children’s
patient and their family every Wednesday home game.
Guests have a pregame experience that includes watching
batting practice and meeting Corey Kluber. Additionally,
guests receive goodie bags and an autographed Kluber
jersey, and enjoy the game Club Level with all-you-can-eat
food.
