The Cleveland Indians, Progressive Insurance and Tech Elevator are partnering to bring Cleveland Tribe Hackathon 2016 to the community next month.

Developers, designers and community members are invited to participate in the event, with a stated goal of enhancing the fan experience using a creative mindset and cool technology.

The event will bring together the region’s tech community for a weekend of creative ideas and execution, celebrating our city as a great sports town and innovative tech destination.

The event begins May 6 at Progressive Insurance, and teams will have two weeks to build their concepts. The event will culminate at Progressive Field on May 20-21. Teams must register by April 29.

Participants could win a signed Michael Brantley jersey; Tribe tickets; BP experience from field level; Francisco Lindor signed hat; and more.

Participants can register solo and join a team or as a team; or community members can attend at no charge. For more information, visit TribeHackathon.com or click here.
