ESPN’s Christina Kahrl on Cleveland Indians pitcher Carlos Carrasco: ‘He’s an ace coming into his own’


We know Carlos Carrasco is a fantastic pitcher, as evidenced by twice flirting with no-hitters and dominating since re-joining the rotation in August 2014.

Others are taking notice, too: ESPN’s Christina Kahrl included Cookie in her “2016 pitchers to watch” list. From her column:

Carrasco just made his first 30-start season and went 14-12 with 10.6 K/9, so you might argue that he already has broken through. But looking at his peripherals and his second-half performance, you can see how he might just be getting started.
