  • Became a cult hit after big game on April 11, when he turned in two, two-run doubles and the crowd at Progressive Field chanted “Jerry, Jerry!”
  • Was 8-for-23 in nine April games before being sent to Columbus
  • Hit first homer on May 30, an eventual game-winner while Carlos Santana was on the paternity list
  • Spent the remainder of the season in Cleveland after being recalled post-trade deadline on July 31
  • Went 4-for-11 as a pinch-hitter, including a pinch-hit Grand Slam on Aug. 8 – marked the first pinch-hit Grand Slam by an Indians batter since Travis Hafner in 2006
