Spelling and grammar in Tribe Town is prodigious

When we’re mentioned in The Wall Street Journal, it’s usually about the brand and the business. This time though, it because of our fans and their astute approach to spelling and grammar. Who would have thought!?

The Journal took fan responses and profiles and calculated how often there was proper use of spelling and grammar. As seen in the above table, our social media followers came in at 3.6 mistakes per 100 words, while the highest rate was 13.9 mistakes per 100 words.

Another take from the WSJ study: Royals fans were most verbose in their posts, so thanks, Tribe fans, for your brevity.
