CARLOS!

Carlos Santana (2-4, HR, 3RBI last night) is now hitting .380 (19-50) vs. KC this year with 2 2B, 7HR & 14RBI in 13 games…In Kauffman he is hitting .538 (14-26) w/6HR & 13RBI in 7 games (1.906OPS)…T2nd most homers vs. KC in a single-season by an Indian (Manny Ramirez hit 8 in 1998 (Sizemore hit 7 in 2008).

According to Elias his 6HR tied for the most HRs at “The K” in one season by any visiting player (opened in 1973)…Only other visiting players to hit six homers in a season at Kauffman are Jacque Jones in 2002 and Jose Valentin in 2003…Santana’s six home runs in his last four games at Kauffman are more than he hit in his first 30 games here (5HR).
