The Indians won their fourth straight on Friday night, overcoming a 2-0 deficit to beat the Tampa Bay Rays, 6-2, at Tropicana Field.

Leading the charge were three players who are very, very hot:

  • Asdrubal Cabrera has nine hits in his last 11 at-bats, including five extra-base hits; he homered in the sixth on Friday.
  • Starter Corey Kluber improved to 3-3 by pitching 6.2IP and striking out 9. In his last four starts, Kluber has struck out 38 while walking only six in 28.1IP; his ERA in that span is 1.91.
  • Second baseman Mike Aviles is 13-for-25 since April 29, when Jason Kipnis was injured and placed on the disabled list. Click here to watch his crucial three-run homer in the seventh inning on Friday.

The Indians and Rays are back at it tonight from the Trop, with Zach McAllister on the bump for Cleveland.
