TRIBE AT A GLANCE: The Indians enter today’s game winners of 3 straight and
are currently just one win shy of most in the Majors…prior to Monday’s loss vs. Los
Angeles-AL, the Indians had not suffered a loss over a 10-game span, going 9-0-1
with their only non-win coming in last Saturday’s 4-4 tie with the Padres in Peoria…
the Indians have yet to lose a game away from Goodyear Ballpark this spring.

SOUTHSIDE SHOWDOWN: After having their scheduled Cactus League opener
rained out on March 1, the Indians defeated the White Sox in walk-off fashion on
March 4 at Goodyear Ballpark, as minor league infielder JOE WENDLE laced a two-
out, game-ending RBI-single to center field, scoring TYLER NAQUIN to break a 4-4
tie…the Indians went 2-1 against their Central Division foes in 2013 Cactus League
play before going on to have a historically successful season against them in the
regular season (see note below)…the Indians hold a 7-2-3 record against the Pale
Hose since the move to the Cactus circuit and were undefeated until a 7-1 loss in the
spring series finale of 2012.

WHITE SOCKS, CLEAN SLATE: Cleveland wrapped up its 2013 season with a 17-2
record vs. the White Sox (8-1 at home; 10-1 on road), ending the season on a fran-
chise-record 14 game win streak against these Southsiders; the last time the Indians
beat a single opponent 14 consecutive times was April 24-September 16, 1960 vs.
the Kansas City Athletics…the Indians 17 wins against the White Sox matches the
most by any team over a single opponent in the division era, and stands as the most
since the 2006 Oakland A’s topped the Mariners 17 times.

RUN IT BACK: Today’s game against the White Sox will mark the second of five
spring contests in which the Indians will demo MLB’s new replay system including 2
remaining games at Goodyear Ballpark (3/14 at CWS, 3/16 at ChC, 3/17 at CIN, 3/24
at CIN)…during this trial period, teams will attempt to simulate and refine the process
that will be implemented during the regular season.

UPCOMING BROADCAST INFORMATION: SportsTime Ohio rolled out the first of
two special programs in advance of Opening Day yesterday, as Beating the Odds: The
Al Rosen Story aired at 3:00pm ET…this hour-long documentary profiles the life and
baseball career of Cleveland Indians legend, four-time All-Star and 1953 American
League MVP Al Rosen…the TV home of the Tribe will also air a Tribe Report Season
Preview on March 19 at 9:00pmET…SportsTime Ohio will conclude its Spring Training
game coverage on March 17th when the Indians take on the Reds at Goodyear Ball-
park, and will return when the Indians and A’s open the 2014 regular season on March
31 in Oakland…SportsTime Ohio will televise 154 games in 2014…FOX will broadcast
nationally the Tribe’s June 21 game vs. Detroit – which will feature the Indians Hall of
Fame induction of Omar Vizquel – while six other games (April 5, May 10, June 7, July
19, July 26 and August 9) will be broadcast on FOX’s new FOX Sports 1.
