Friday…this afternoon’s tilt with San Diego will be the second game in 5 days be-
tween these two club’s as the Indians and Padres played to a 4-4 tie at the Peoria
Sports Complex on Saturday…MICHAEL BRANTLEY went 4-4 in that contest

TRIBE AT A GLANCE: The Indians got back to their winning ways yesterday due
in large to another strong effort by the club’s pitching staff; the Diamondbacks did
not record a hit until the 5th inning and were held scoreless over the final 3 innings
to end the game…before dropping just their second game of the spring slate on
Monday, the Indians had not suffered a loss over a 10-game span, going 9-0-1
with their only non-win coming in Saturday’s 4-4 tie with the Padres in Peoria…
the Indians enter today’s game at 10-2-1, the highest winning percentage (.833)
in the Majors.
