EAST BOUND AND DOWN: Cleveland fell to 10-17 against A.L. East squads this season after last night’s loss…Tribe is on the back end of a stretch during which the club was scheduled to play 15 consecutive games against A.L. East opponents…the Indians are a combined 29-20 against teams from the A.L. West (12-5) and A.L. Central (17-15).

SERIES STUFF: Cleveland has gone 14-13-3 in 30 series overall in 2012 (6-7-2 at home; 8-6-2 on the road), winning 14 of the club’s last 28 series (14-11-3) after losing each of the first 2 to begin the season…at 0-2 with a pair of games remaining vs. Baltimore, the Indians are assured of a 4th straight winless series (0-1-2) following consecutive series wins, although the Indians are 2-0-1 over the last 3 series at Progressive Field…the Tribe has executed 4 series sweeps, while being swept by an opponent 4 times.
