Allen Goebel: Memories from the 1935 All-Star Game

Indians fan Allen Goebel, 91, attended the 1935 All-Star Game in Cleveland. Goebel chatted with TribeVibe about his experience at the third-ever All-Star Game after throwing out Sunday’s ceremonial first pitch at Progressive Field.

That is my Dad!! ans what a great honor for him to be able to do this. He has been a lifelong Indians fan. THis made his day :)

This is my wonderful father-in-law. It was such an honor for him to throw out that first pitch! He is 91 years old and has been a fan of the Indians for a very long time! Thank you to Mike, who arranged this wonderful event for pops and to the Cleveland Indians for making it happen! It is something he will NEVER forget!

He is a wonderful sweet man ..I get the joy of his company everynight for diner and today he showed me this article and I think it is amazing
