Your Dad’s Beer, Section 119

Listening to sports talk radio while driving to an Indians game, father and son often discuss the pitching matchup, the probable lineup, and the chances that the Tribe will win that night.

Upon arriving to the ballpark, they choose seats along the first-base dugout, hoping to witness one of All-Star shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera’s web gems.

A few innings into the game, the father offers to buy his son some dinner. Walking past section 119, they discover a 12 oz. beer for just $4.50.

Your Dad’s Beer stand is the perfect location in the ballpark for father and son to enjoy beers together for under $10.

“It gives you the opportunity to come back [to your seat] and say, ‘Hey, Dad, do you remember this?’” Andy Yantek, Operations Manager of Delaware North Companies said. “A lot of these beers, they would do promotions with the local sports teams, and they made them collectibles. It gives the father and grandfather the opportunity to reminisce about the old days.”

The stand is designed to reflect “Your Dad’s” old office or lounge from the 60s or 70s.

“We came up with the idea of having a wood panel in the background. That’s what today’s man cave kind of looks like,” he said. “If they were a hunter, they’d have the animals on the wall or the trophies from your sporting events.”

While certain beers, including Schaefer, Genesee, Busch, Blatz, and Stroh’s are featured throughout every series, the stand purchases beers in bulk depending on which team is coming into town.

Your Dad’s Beer offers the cheapest beer in the ballpark. Whether purchasing dinner at the game or bringing dinner in a cooler for the family, be sure to stop by Your Dad’s Beer to enjoy a taste of the past.
