March 26 Quick Recap: Brewers 6, Indians 5

The Indians fell to the Milwaukee Brewers 6-5 this afternoon at Goodyear Ballpark.
The Brewers broke a 5-5 tie with a run in the top of the 9th inning off loser VINNIE PESTANO (1.0IP, 2H, 1R/ER, 2K) on an RBI-triple by NORICHIKA AOKI after the Indians tied it in the bottom of the 8th inning on FELIX PIE’s pinch RBI-single. The Brewers’ big inning came in the 5th with 3 runs off JUSTIN MASTERSON (6.0IP, 7H, 5R/ER, 1BB, 4K) on an RBI-single from RYAN BRAUN and a 2-run double from TRAVIS ISHIKAWA.

In addition to the Pie single, the Indians got a 2-run homer from CARLOS SANTANA in the 6th inning. ASDRUBAL CABRERA also chipped in a 3rd-inning RBI-single while JASON KIPNIS brought home a run in the 5th with an RBI-groundout.  CHRIS RAY & FRANK HERRMANN worked perfect innings in relief off Masterson.  JACK HANNAHAN went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles to raise his spring average to .300 in his first game action since March 15 (mid-back strain).
The Indians will travel to Glendale, AZ tomorrow to take on the Chicago White Sox at 1:05PM PT/4:05PM ET from Camelback Ranch.  The game will be live on the Indians Radio Network and and aired at 7PM ET on WMMS 100.7FM.  Starting pitchers are right-handers UBALDO JIMENEZ & ZACH STEWART.
